Our house is located in Maranza above the village of Rio di Pusteria, at 1,460 meters above sea level. The surrounding area is wonderfully quiet: just outside the door, you will find lovely meadows. The convenient location makes our hotel in Gitschberg Val Giovo particularly attractive: the nearest cable car to Mount Gitschberg is only two minutes away. In the winter, a toboggan run takes you straight to the house – and hikers or mountain bikers may venture out freely in all directions. A 10-minute walk takes you to the village centre of Maranza. Rio di Pusteria, the gateway to the Pusteria Valley, can be reached in around 7 minutes by cable car. As you see, here you will not need your car – also because with the AlmencardPLUS you enjoy many free rides.

Just recently, we have fully renovated our hotel in Gitschberg Val Giovo; we also restyled the entire house, and made it even more attractive for our discerning guests. You will immediately notice that we rely on traditional materials and designs, combined with modern amenities, creating a typical South Tyrolean flair. You will like the beautiful balconies and large windows of our rooms. They feature beautiful wooden floors and offer plenty of space. Of course, the hotel is equipped for disabled guests and suitable for persons with allergies.
